I'm a simple person with a lot of love for my family, all things outside, God, and of course, photography. My love for photography started at a young age - I have always loved taking and looking at photographs. They tell stories. They remind us of memories. They introduce us to people whom we have never met, placing so much more than just a name with a face.

Aside from taking photos, I enjoy running, hiking with my family, cooking, & baking. I am largely inspired by nature and the great outdoors, and my absolute favorite sessions are outside in beautiful locations with warm, golden light. I am always up for hiking to an epic location, or finding a spot that is local and more convenient to get to.

I am married to my college sweetheart, and together we have a 2 year old boy and a Rhodesian Ridgeback pup. They are a busy and inseparable pair! My son has taught me so much, including how to slow down and go with the flow (which is especially useful when photographing families).

My camera has become such a huge part of who I am. Capturing keepsake memories and moments is what makes me feel alive. I live for creating beautiful images to be enjoyed for generations to come.
